As a Puerto Rican born American citizen, who considers herself a citizen of the World, I thank redbeanblogs.com for creating awareness of the fact that many of us are hard-working and very well prepared– and most of the time highly educated –individuals who are willing to go the extra mile to achieve our dreams. Moreover, educated, or well-raised Hispanic (I hate the Latina brand) women make sure their children are well-raised, conscious and responsible individuals that will make a positive mark in this world… We make a lot of sacrifices…and it better be acknowledged!!!!!

Reggaeton is one of the rhythms we dance. I think Zumba is a trend. But the cultural current is the convergence of cultures, only this convergence, in my opinion goes well beyond the mere reality that we are all here…It’s much deeper, it’s how we are all influencing each other across cultures, creating new ones and ultimately, changing our behavior..Seguimos!
